This print began with a simple sketch of a poppy. I was drawn to its shape in seed and bloom. For this design, the linework stays loose, a nod to hand-drawn studies rather than botanical precision. I wanted the background’s color and texture to echo the looseness of the sketched floral, adding depth without distraction. The soft slate blue feels calm and natural, while the ivory floral brings gentle contrast. It’s a pattern that feels easy and lived-in - meant to bring a bit of nature’s softness indoors.

The Kadie is a study in repetition as movement. It began as an attempt to create a soft, scalloped rhythm—something that felt hand-drawn, not manufactured. The large-scale repeated strokes move in arcs, giving it both a quiet strength and a restful cadence. This pattern holds the tension I love most in design: structured yet soft, imperfect yet intentional. I wanted a design that was modern in its abstraction, but grounded—reminiscent of marks made by hand on pottery. This design features a soft ivory ground with stone grey strokes. By choosing these colors, I wanted to create a calm, elevated neutral.

The flower in this design was inspired by a Cosmos. Often seen in cottage gardens or growing freely in meadows - I wanted my drawing to capture that same loose, organic spirit—full of movement and ease. This design begins with a foundation of layered neutrals, enriched by soft touches of green, gray, and blue in the foliage to bring depth and dimension to the floral motif.

This pattern is inspired by vintage teardrop jewelry—a nod to heirloom beauty and timeless form. I wanted to create a small-scale geometric repeat that highlights simple, sculptural shapes with an elevated, feminine touch. The design blends historical elegance with a modern sensibility, offering something that feels both delicate and considered. I chose colors specifically to echo aged gold and worn silver.

"I love palm fronds. They are elegant and interesting, offering a simple design element both organic and symmetrical. Palm trees can be found all over the southern US from the beaches in Malibu to the beaches in Miami. I designed this particular pattern with the palm fronds in layers showing dimension and depth in the design. This pattern just had to be part of my collection."  

This enchanting design evokes the timeless elegance of a bygone era. The warm taupe background sets the stage for delicately woven ivory motifs, forming an intricate dance of florals and pineapples — a symbol of hospitality, abundance, and heartfelt welcome.

Each medallion frames a bouquet of blossoms, tenderly arranged as if freshly gathered from a secret garden. The gentle scrolls surrounding the floral clusters curve creating a sense of movement and grace. The symmetry offers balance, while the soft contrast of tones gives the fabric a warm, vintage allure.

This pattern is my take on a timeworn floral—meant to feel like it could’ve been lifted from a well-loved tapestry. I painted these flowers loosely with sketch-like contours, while the texture underneath mimics the irregularity of woven cloth. I chose pale sage, warm clay and flax tones to give it that archival feel—aged, but still relevant.
